![]() Recently they've just straight up not been outputting anything at all. Replaced both DP cables, which sometimes work and sometimes not. I've replaced my monitor as i'd used my secondary with a jank vga>dp adapter for a while, which was fine on my previous card (2060 super) I've replaced the psu as mine was aging anyways, which worked for a while(?) for a 750w gold+ corsair Only to want to come back to life the following morning/sometimes during use of my computer at random Then seemingly for no reason the display ports would just flatout not work. I was gifted a 3070 tail end of last year and things were working great for a while. Submitted by Unlost_maniac to SteamDeck Ģ023.03.04 19:44 r0ger4s Identical issue that many people have yet there is no concrete solution What are your thoughts? does anyone here use this?Įdit: cant figure out hyperlinking apparently Yes the steamdeck can output higher resolutions but that obviously comes at a cost so this device is a happy middle ground I'd like to think. Im surprised I havent seen more people talk about this or use it as a Steamdeck accessory. according to Digital Foundry there have been previous products attempting the same thing but with those they had problems if you used it to play 480p retro games where you'd have to unhook the device because it caused visual problems i guess idk. one being passthrough with zero changes, the next is the upscaling mode, and the final one is for 480p retro games specifically. Its a little dongle that needs a Micro USB cable to power it and it goes through HDMI, theres a little switch on the device itself for 3 modes of use. It adjusts the colours making things more saturated. Its a bit pricey at $100, for those who dont wanna watch the video or dont know about it, it can take either a 720p or a 1080p image and upscale it (maybe it can upscale 1440p aswell idk) it adds a lot of anti aliasing and makes the output 4k on supported displays or 1440p on a 1440p display, it makes a noticable difference on edges of things on objects, also makes moving water look a lot nicer.
